About the teacher

Louisa is the founder of Little Language School in Saint-Junien, France. She was Head of Languages in Secondary Schools in the UK and taught French at GCSE and A-level in England for 20 years before moving to France in 2022. She now teaches more than 100 adult learners each week, specialising in practical French and DELF preparation for English speakers living in France, with a 100% pass rate at every level.

This course brings together everything she teaches in her in-person DELF preparation sessions, adapted into a clear, structured online format you can work through at your own pace.

Who needs it?

• Foreign people who have lived in France for five years or more and who want to apply for a settled long-term residency status with a first 10-year carte de résident de longue durée - UE
• Others meeting criteria for a first 10-year residency card after shorter periods (eg. due to family links). Also required for a first carte de résident permanent.

Who is exempt

• Over 65s and people with health or disability reasons for being unable to take a test
• Brexit Withdrawal Agreement cardholders.
